Welcome to Macaroni KID Centreville-South Riding! I’m your publisher, Sara.

I have proudly called this area home for 15 years, and have lived in the DMV for over 20 for 17. Whether it’s eating at a local restaurant, enjoying beautiful nature, or attending a festival or cultural event there is always something to do! I feel so fortunate to live in an area with so much to offer—that’s why I’m excited to share a roundup of the best local events, activities, and businesses with you on this site and in our weekly email. 

A little about me: my husband and I have an incredible daughter who is in elementary school. Like many parents, we are always looking out for things to do. I want to help share that information with you so your family can find their new, favorite local treasure. Over the years, Macaroni KID has been a go-to resource for me in finding new and exciting things for my family. In addition to exploring Northern Virginia, I am a dance mom, a crafter, and an avid reader. 

Macaroni KID is a national website of 400  publishers across the country, and I am proud to publish the edition for our little part of NoVA. My goal is to keep our  event calendar is packed with events, activities, and classes throughout the area.
