Two By Four Race Against Childhood and Canine Cancer, September 28 in Brambleton
Kids. Dogs. Neighbors. Friends. This September they are all coming together to help Crush Cancer @ Both Ends of the Leash and YOU can join in the fun! It’s time to register for the 3rd Annual Two By Four Race Against Childhood and Canine Cancer in Brambleton, Virginia! The early registration rate ends on Wednesday, July 31 – register today before the rates go up.
The unique race includes a 5K on a certified course, as well as a 1 mile Dog Jog and a kid's Fun Run, has something for everyone, and seeks to bring our wider community together to raise awareness and raise funds for critical research to end the cancers kids and our canine companions BOTH develop!
Who’s behind the Two By Four Race? The Canines-N-Kids Foundation is a local non-profit with a national focus. The tireless work of the organization and its founder Ulrike Szalay is raising awareness of the cancers kids and our beloved canines share in common and closing the funding gap that has stood in the way of making meaningful progress. Their goal is to bring together the best and brightest in pediatric and veterinary oncology and to work creatively and constructively with others who share in our mission to help canines and kids with cancer to beat their disease. Again this year, Canines-N-Kids is proud to collaborate with the Leesburg-based Smashing Walnuts Foundation (pediatric brain cancer) in putting on the Brambleton Two By Four Race.
