Description
Join us for the annual strawberry festival at Great Country Farms in Loudoun County Virginia. To celebrate the royal strawberry, our Jubilee is packed with live music, farm contests, wagon rides, great food and fun games for the whole family!
Great Food abounds at our Roosteraunt Concession Stand, Knead It Bakery and Henway Hard Cider by the pond. Savor Cider Donuts, Strawberry Lemonade, hand-dipped ice cream and baked goods including strawberry rhubarb pies.
Schedule of Events:
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Breakfast in Knead It Bakery ~ Cider Donuts, scones, breakfast sandwiches, and Red Rooster Funky Chicken Craft Coffee!
11am – 4pm ~ Roosteraunt Concession Open or grab lunch at Henway Hard Cider
11am-7pm ~ Vist Henway Hard Cider for the Strawberry Jam Live Music
11:00 a.m. – NEW! Lil’ Sprout Float Parade – Kids can participate in the festival’s Lil’ Sprout Float Parade. Each participant should arrive to the parade in a decorated stroller, wagon, or cart. A 2022 Farm Club Fan membership will be awarded for Best Strawberry Theme, Most Creative, and Best Use of Strawberries. Each entry also will receive 1 free admission ticket to be used for your next visit to Great Country Farms!
11:30 a.m. Diaper Derby – Let your little crawler (9-14 months) win your family a 2022 Farm Club Fan Membership! Sign up by the Roosteraunt. First come first entry.
1:00 p.m. Pie Eating Contest Daily – Kids and Adult contest to see who can eat their slice of pie the fastest. Seats are limited so sign up by the Roosteraunt window to participate.
