Featuring songs cherished by multiple generations, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and the title number, Westfield Theatre is proud to put on the acclaimed musical The Sound of Music.

Based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, we follow the story of follows an energetic postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the powerful Captain von Trapp. Maria brings music and joy to the household, but as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, she and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
